Meet your trainer, Angela Nyhuis
Angela Nyhuis

- Certified Master Trainer in NLP & Hypnosis (Master Hypnotist Society)
Angela Nyhuis is the founder and director of the National School of Hypnosis and a Certified Master Trainer in NLP and hypnosis for the Master Hypnotist Society. She brings more than a decade of hands-on hypnosis and NLP experience, built on nearly 30 years in banking and the corporate world, to every program she leads.
Before bringing the school to British Columbia, Angela directed Guelph Hypnosis Works in Ontario (2015 to 2020). An active member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Master Hypnotist Society, she continues to train and mentor new practitioners across Western Canada.
Angela's work is focused on education, self-improvement, and personal development. She practises within the professional scope of consulting hypnotism and encourages clients to seek appropriate licensed medical or mental-health support for concerns outside that scope.

A foundation in business
Nearly 30 years in banking and corporate roles, building the communication and people skills she teaches today.
- 2013–2014
Certified in hypnosis & NLP
Trained and certified as a Consulting Hypnotist (National Guild of Hypnotists) and an NLP Practitioner (National Federation of NLP).
- 2015–2020
Directed Guelph Hypnosis Works
Worked with clients and students across Ontario, refining a hands-on, ethical approach to training.
- 2017–present
Master Hypnotist Society trainer
Became a Certified Master Trainer in NLP and hypnosis for the Master Hypnotist Society (MHS).
- 2021
Founded the school in British Columbia
Brought her training to the West Coast, opening the National School of Hypnosis in Abbotsford.

Leads the school and mentors hypnosis and NLP practitioners across Western Canada.
