Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, honest answers about how our hypnosis and NLP training works - from program fit and format to certification, pricing, and what our certificates do and don't allow.
Program Fit
Anyone 19 or older who wants practical hypnosis and NLP skills - working professionals, coaches, counsellors, educators, healthcare and helping professionals, entrepreneurs, and career-changers. No prior experience is required; our foundational training starts from first principles.
None. Each program builds from the ground up, and your free consultation makes sure you start at the right level for your goals.
Yes. Many students take our training purely for personal development - confidence, communication, focus, and self-hypnosis skills - with no intention of practising professionally. The courses stand on their own for personal growth.
Online Format
Our certification cohorts are live and interactive, taught in real time in small groups so you get hands-on practice and direct instructor feedback. We also offer in-person intensives in Abbotsford, BC. See How Online Training Works for full detail.
Live sessions run on Zoom. Sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled students so you can review material or catch up if you miss a class.
Live attendance is strongly encouraged because so much of the learning is hands-on practice with feedback. If you must miss a session, recordings and make-up options help you stay on track.
It varies by program. The four-day in-person intensive runs 9:00am–4:30pm daily; certification cohorts run roughly six hours a week of live instruction plus supervised practice. Each course page lists its specific time commitment.
Technology Requirements
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone (a headset helps). Live sessions run on Zoom - we send a join link before each class, and no software beyond Zoom is required.
We send joining instructions in advance and can do a quick tech check before your first class. If you drop off mid-session you can rejoin with the same link, and recordings are available afterward so you never miss material.
Certification & Credentials
On completion you receive a National School of Hypnosis certificate. Our certification training is eligible toward professional registration with recognized bodies such as IMDHA and IACT, and our trainers are certified through the Master Hypnotist Society (MHS).
It certifies that you have completed structured, hands-on training in hypnosis and/or NLP skills and may practise within an ethical scope of practice. It does not make you a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or medical professional, and it does not authorize you to diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions. See our Scope of Practice for full detail.
Certification programs include supervised practice, case review, and a written and/or practical assessment so your competence is demonstrated before you graduate.
Schedule & Attendance
Cohorts and intensives run on a rolling schedule through the year. Specific dates are listed on each course page, and your consultation will confirm the next intake that fits you.
Recordings and make-up options are available. We keep cohorts small specifically so we can support students individually if life gets in the way.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing depends on the program - masterclasses start around $277 (Early Bird), the four-day Hypnosis Training BC intensive is $1,177 (Early Bird), and certification tracks scale from there. Every course page shows its current investment.
Yes. Most programs can be paid in full or in interest-free installments. Ask during your consultation and we'll find an option that works for you.
No. Live instruction, recordings, supervised practice, and your certificate are included in the stated price. We tell you the all-in cost up front.
Student Support
Small class sizes mean personalized attention, real-time coaching, and meaningful feedback on your practice throughout the program.
Yes. Graduates join an alumni community with practice circles and continuing education, and mentorship is available for those building a practice.
Scope & Career
No. This is skills training and certification, not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. We teach you to practise hypnosis and NLP ethically and within a clear scope of practice, and never as a replacement for care from a qualified health professional.
Many graduates do - as hypnosis practitioners, coaches, or by integrating these skills into existing work. Our Business Coaching and mentorship programs specifically support building an ethical, sustainable practice.
You're covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee: a full refund after your first live session if the program isn't the right fit. Full terms are on our Policies page.
