Policies & Scope of Practice
We don't treat your money, your time, or your credentials casually. Here's exactly where we stand - written plainly.
Scope of Practice
Important: National School of Hypnosis provides skills training and certification in hypnosis and NLP. Our programs areeducation and personal development - they are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.
Hypnosis and NLP as we teach them are tools for personal growth, communication, confidence, and goal-focused change. Our certificates confirm that a graduate has completed structured, hands-on training and may practise these skills within an ethical scope. They donot:
- Make a graduate a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, social worker, or medical professional.
- Authorize anyone to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological condition.
- Replace care from a qualified, licensed health professional.
Practitioners are expected to work within their competence, obtain informed consent, maintain appropriate boundaries, and refer clients to licensed professionals when a concern falls outside the scope of hypnosis and NLP skills. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
